Interested in expressing yourself through jazz music? Join Jazz for Singers online workshops to learn jazz theory and techniques, sing, improvise and have fun.

For youth ages 16-29, this program is free, LGBTQ+ friendly, and open to all levels. Spots are limited and come with one private lesson. Hooray! 🙌🏼

About the Facilitator

May Chook (they/she) is a non-binary music facilitator and vocal artist based in Toronto. Born in Malaysia, they get inspiration from the community around them and enjoy exploring sounds in improvisation and creative music. They studied jazz and improvisation at York University and have led community music programs for over 7 years. Currently they are working on a new music project under the moniker Dawn Rosa, which is the literal English translation of their Chinese name 晓薇.
